The Constitutional Law «On State symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan» was adopted on June 4, 2007. In accordance with this law, June 4 is celebrated annually in the Republic of Kazakhstan as the day of state symbols.
State symbols are one of the inalienable attributes of any state, symbolizing its sovereignty and unity. In the Republic of Kazakhstan, the state symbols are the national flag, the state emblem and the national anthem.
The author of the national flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the Honored Artist of Kazakhstan shaken Niyazbekov.
The authors of the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan are famous architects Zhandarbek Malibekov and shot – Aman Ualikhanov.
The author of the song is Shamshi Kaldayakov, the lyrics are written by Zhumeken Nazhimedenov, Nursultan Nazarbayev.
In honor of the holiday, a book exhibition was held in the Scientific Library.
