Student Government is run by the President elected by KBTU students at the beginning of each academic year. After the elections 50% of government members replaces by new presidents’ team, whereas 50% of members remains the same from previous year.

1. Student Organizations (Mazhilis) are the best for taking up new hobby, developing new skills and projects, and socializing with interesting people at absolute new community. Even though, the studying at KBTU is tough, you should always find some time to lighten up your Student Life and make it more active and interesting.

In our university you always have an opportunity to express yourself as organizer of event, journalist, musician, dancer, actor or actress, debater etc., anyone you want. Because there are more than 30 organizations related to different fields.

1. Central election and constitutional commission - the higher authority in organizing the Elections of the President of the Student Government, the President of the Student House, and the Presidents of Schools (members of the Senate).

The CECC consists of representatives of each school who are not interested in helping only a certain candidate to win over others. Representatives of the CECC adhere to a neutral position and monitor compliance with all the rules of electoral processes to guarantee maximum purity and transparency of elections.

The president and members of CECC are elected at the beginning of each academic year, early before the start of elections of KBTU President, Student House President and School presidents.

1. KBTU Alumni Association is a community made up of graduates from KBTU. Many of them have gone on to successful careers in their chosen fields, both in Kazakhstan and abroad. They are highly sought after by employers in a variety of industries, and are known for their strong technical skills, critical thinking abilities, and adaptability.

Each member of Alumni Association are also active members of the University community, participating in events and activities both on and off campus. They often give back to the University through donations and mentorship programs, helping to support the next generation of KBTU students.
