Internationalization is one of the priorities of KBTU's strategy. We have established partnerships and cooperation with the best world universities, such as the University of London, Harvard Business School, Kyoto Institute of Technology, Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after V.I. Gubkin, University of Reading, University of Northampton, Kozminski University and many others.

Over the past 5 years, there has been an increase in academic mobility for 6 times since 2015. Growth of the international students by 4 times in the same period from countries like Russia, Kyrgyzstan, China, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and other countries.

Each year our university is presented in the international QS ranking. In the region of Central Asia and Eastern Europe, we are in the top 30% of universities, according to the global QS ranking, we are in the top 5 universities in Kazakhstan. KBTU programs had received international recognition through accreditations with ABET, ACBSP, IQAA, CIMA, ACCA, CFA.
