Defender of the Fatherland Day is a state holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is usually celebrated on May 7. The tradition of celebrating this day dates back to 1992, when the President signed a law that consisted in creating his own army. Exactly 20 years later, the head of state made a decision, thanks to which today May 7 is a public holiday, officially a day off for all residents of Kazakhstan. This decision is connected with the fact that the country treats everyone who is in any way connected with military service with respect.
May 7 is a holiday that says that an independent country has its own protective abilities. Congratulations on the holiday to all citizens of Kazakhstan who do not extinguish the fuel of a sovereign country and support our defense system!
