On October 11 a meeting of the 1st and 2nd year students with the Executive Director on Human Capital Development of KAZENERGY Association Lyazzat Akhmurzina took place in KBTU.
A new student contest ‘StudentDigitalFest’ that started in September with the sponsor support of “Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V.” was presented during the meetings. The contest is aimed at inspiring students to develop applied innovative projects and solutions on digitalization of the production organizations of petroleum industry. Participation in ‘StudentDigitalFest’ is an opportunity for students to form clear vision of the chosen profession, creative independence, correct self-evaluation and self-determination in the professional sphere.
During 3 years the Association has been successfully conducting the intellectual student contest “Student Energy Challenge” with the financial support of “Shell Kazakhstan” Company. We are happy to note that Kazakh-British Technical University students take active part in this competition. This year, KBTU FEOGI team took the 2nd place in the “Student Energy Challenge” in the sphere of “Utilization and waste recycling”.
