KBTU representatives visited Canterbury Christ Church University on February 28. KBTU Rector Gabdullin Maratbek Tulebergenovich and Dean of the School of Energy and Petroleum Industry Ismailov Abdulakhat Abdukarimovich met with Rector of the University of Canterbury Rama Thizunamachandran and representatives of the Department of Internationalization, deans of the Business School, School of Engineering and Sustainable Development.

 

Issues of cooperation in various fields, academic mobility and obtaining a double degree were discussed. A Memorandum of cooperation has been signed.

 

The university is located in Kent, England and owns seven campuses. Founded as a teacher training college in 1962, it received university status in 2005 and has about 15,000 students.
