On February 7, an important meeting was held between representatives of the KBTU and the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in Kazakhstan, which stimulated further cooperation.

 

Among the high-ranking guests of the Embassy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Tоomas Tiers and his Deputy Dimitri Mironov were present.

 

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between KBTU and Tallinn University of Technology (Taltech) were discussed. This partnership is of great importance for the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of high technology and innovative development.

 

Ambassador Tоomas Tiers also expressed the embassy's willingness to help establish cooperation between KBTU and other Estonian universities. This opens up new prospects for the exchange of students, teachers and researchers, as well as for joint scientific and educational projects.

 

Also after the meeting, the Ambassador gave a lecture on the topic "Digital transformation of Estonia". During the lecture, Ambassador Tоomas Tiers highlighted the innovative approaches used in Estonia to improve digital transformation in various spheres of the country's life. He spoke in detail about digital solutions used in education, the banking sector, public administration and business. The Ambassador stressed the effectiveness of these approaches and their positive impact on the development and prosperity of Estonia.
