Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU) is pleased to announce important events that took place from October 24 to October 31, 2023. As part of these events, memorandums of cooperation and additional agreements were signed aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of EMBA, DBA, additional education and Project Groups.
Representatives of KBTU, managing director for additional education A.M. Ibrayev and head of project groups and the UN SDG center KBTU, professor of the School of Information Technology and Engineering Akzhalova A.Zh. and representatives of the University of Salerno discussed issues of joint activities in the field of international programs, including Executive MBA (EMBA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), visited the laboratories of the University of Salerno, where they got acquainted with the latest achievements in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of things (IoT), digital twins (Digital Twins), robotics, information and communication technologies (ICT), virtual reality (VR), energy and chemical engineering, and nanotechnology.
Thus, KBTU and the University of Salerno signed a memorandum and additional agreements, within the framework of which they agreed:
- Conduct joint courses and programs;
- Carry out the exchange of teachers, doctoral students, researchers, administrative personnel, including within the framework of Erasmus+;
- Create a joint laboratory within the framework of the UN SDG Center and Project Groups for joint international grant activities and access to the knowledge base in the above areas.
- Participate in seminars, summer and winter schools;
- Plan and implement joint educational programs (EMBA) leading to joint or double degrees.
It is also necessary to separately highlight the important meeting of KBTU representatives with representatives of Groupe IGS (France), which has ACBSP accreditation, which is a leading French company in the field of higher education and corporate training. During the meetings, we agreed on joint activities on international certification programs and internships in the field of corporate training.
This agreement is of particular importance considering the upcoming Forum of French Companies in Kazakhstan, which emphasizes the importance of strengthening ties with leading French organizations and creating a favorable platform for fruitful cooperation.
KBTU and European representatives agreed to hold online sessions for all teaching staff and employees to familiarize themselves with project activities and the possibility of preparing applications for international grants. These meetings and agreements open new horizons for KBTU students and teachers and help strengthen international relations in the field of additional education and project activities.
