On November 6-8, representatives of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and the United Nations Development Program will gather at the site of the Technical University in Almaty to raise the issue of accelerating the energy transition in countries of Central Asia.
Dialogue participants intend to promote regional cooperation, provide technical capacity support, and help countries of Central Asia innovate, modernize their regional infrastructure, and build sustainable energy systems that are safe and affordable.
In 2022, the event brought together politicians, representatives of the energy sector from different countries, the financial sector, science and academia.
