In Astana, the awarding ceremony of the best university teachers was held. Certificates were presented by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek.

4 KBTU teachers became the winners of the «Best University teacher 2022» contest: Shamoi Pakizar Sulgadinovna, professor of the School of Information Technologies and Engineering, Abylkasymova Aizhan Bolatovna, an assistant professor of the School of Applied Mathematics, Badayev Serikzhan Agybaevich, professor of the School of Applied Mathematics, and Batryshev Didar Galymovich, associated professor of the School of Materials Science and Green Technologies.

The «Best University teacher 2022» contest was attended by 775 teachers from 71 universities of Kazakhstan. The Commission of the Republican Competition evaluated indicators such as the development and publication of electronic educational resources, educational materials, scientific publications in domestic and international journals, and the availability of patents for the invention. Not less important criterias for evaluation were the quality of teaching and the work of training personnel in undergraduate, master and PhD studies. The winners of the competition were 150 teachers from 43 universities of Kazakhstan.
