Dear students living in the Students' House!

As you know, a very urgent and burning issue is providing students with dormitories. According to the message of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan "A Fair State. One Nation. Prosperous Society" it is planned to build dormitories for 90,000 places in Kazakhstan within the next five years.

WHAT WILL BE DONE:

To expand the housing stock and provide places for all needy nonresident students of our university, the management of KBTU JSC has decided to build a new dormitory that meets international requirements. Students will be provided with all conditions for learning and comfortable accommodation, sporting and leisure activities:

  1. two nine-storey buildings with a capacity of 980 beds will be constructed, with a canteen and an auditorium for events; each room will have its bathroom and shower room; the floors will have a recreation/study room and kitchen. High-speed lifts will be installed in the building for easy movement;
  2. a three-storey sports complex with a gym, choreography room and sports room (volleyball, basketball and football). The complex has changing rooms, showers and bathrooms.

CONSTRUCTION PERIOD: Construction is scheduled to start in February 2023, with completion expected in December 2023.

TO THE ATTENTION OF THE STUDENTS OF BUILDING No.1:

  1. temporary relocation of residents of building No.1 to a rented dormitory located near KBTU will be organized until 05 February.
  2. transport will be organized for comfortable transportation of students' personal belongings (at the expense of the university).
  3. during the resettlement period the payment conditions for students will not be changed.

STUDENTS OF BUILDINGS No. 2, 3, 4: we ask for your understanding of the temporary inconvenience caused by construction on the Students’ House territory.
