On October 30, second-year cadets of the Kazakhstan Maritime Academy went to their first sea practice on the sailing ship Eendracht along the route: Rotterdam, the Netherlands - Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. The trip is planned to be completed in 22 days.
Students will practice astronavigation, sailing, meteorology, first aid, maintenance, ship engine room preparation and more.
Maritime practice is an integral part of the KMA educational program. It is held on the ship of the Eendracht company - a partner of the Kazakh-British Technical University. Colleagues from Eendracht have extensive experience in training sailors, and their cooperation with KBTU has been going on for many years.
On the sailboat, the cadets of the KMA raised the flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan, sang the national anthem, and enthusiastically began to carry out practical tasks.
