A tournament was held in the chess club of KBTU in honor of the celebration of International Women's Day on March 8.

The winners:

Zhanerke Ismagulova (FIT, 1st year) - 3rd place;

on the second place is Zhanyl Oteuova (BS, 1st year),

and the first to finish was FIT freshman Zarina Kabduali.

Some of the students took part in a chess tournament for the first time. Anastasia Larionova (FIT, 1st year) shared her observations: “The tournament went great! Impressions are wonderful, especially when you participate for the first time. It is also nice that there is an opportunity to make new acquaintances among chess fans”. The participants thanked the organizers for the opportunity to participate in such events, the contenders for the excellent and fair game. Each of the participants was awarded a prize.
