On March 26, 2022, the First Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madiev Zhaslan Khasenovich visited the Kazakh-British Technical University.

The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the technical equipment of the university for teaching educational programs in the IT direction. An agreement was reached on cooperation in the development of mechanical engineering, the electronics industry, robotics and shipbuilding. The issue of training teachers in the field of IT was also discussed.

During the visit, the Laboratory of the Faculty of Information Technology in Robotics and Electrical Engineering, Halyk Academy, simulators of the Kazakhstan Maritime Academy, Honeywell Automation Training Center, Multimedia Technology Center, Laboratory of Alternative Energy and Nanotechnology and Independence Hall were shown.
