From February 16 to February 23, 2022, the XVIII International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Informatics was held at the National School of Physics & Math. This year, 1178 schoolchildren from 21 countries of the world took part in the competition: Australia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Denmark, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine.
The Olympiad was held in three subjects: mathematics, physics and informatics. The winners of the Olympiad were 55 Kazakhstan’s schoolchildren who received a grant to study at our university!
KBTU traditionally allocates grants to holders of gold, silver and bronze medals of the XVIII IJO in all sections from Kazakhstan, as well as winners from other countries who are students in grades 11-12.
