Scientific and Educational Foundation of Academician Shakhmardan Yessenov announces a competition for the provision of 10 grants for applicants from low-income families who have not received a state or any other grant to pay for higher (bachelor's) education.

 

A graduate of a school/orphanage/youth home/college who plans to study at a Kazakhstani university to receive specialties in natural sciences and technical areas can become a participant in the program. Applications are also accepted from young people with special needs.

 

To participate in the competition of the "ÓRLEÝ" (Orleu) program, you need to submit an online application through the foundation website yessenovfoundation.org from April 25 to July 20, 2022.

 

* Applications will close on July 20, 2022. at 15:00 Nur-Sultan time (GMT+6).

 

The application must be accompanied by:

 

Required documents for a parent or legal guardian:

 

1) a scanned copy of an identity card;

2) scanned copies of documents confirming the social status of the Applicant:

a. information about the composition of the family;

b. certificate of pension (by age, disability) if available;

c. certificate of benefits (for the loss of a breadwinner, for having many children, for taking care

of a child, unemployment, TSA, etc.) if available;

d. certificate of the presence or absence of an object of entrepreneurship;

e. statement of pension contributions as of the date of application from the legal representative or parents of the applicant;

f. information about the presence / absence of housing, a car, a subsidiary farm, etc.

 

Required documents for the applicant:

 

1) Scanned copy of ID card;

2) Motivation letter containing:

a. information about yourself and family; interests and hobbies, about their achievements;

b. information about the reasons for the need for financial assistance to pay tuition fee;

c. why did you choose this educational program;

d. plans for the next 10 years.

3) High school diploma / college diploma (applications of applicants with grades below “good and excellent” are not considered), a certificate of passing the UNT (for admission to universities);

4) Certificate of disability, if any;

5) Certificate from a pupil of an orphanage or a youth home.

 

Additional documents:

 

1) Certificates and diplomas for academic achievements - no more than 2 pieces *;

2) Photo made in 2021-2022:

a. applicant with a good close-up (not a passport photo, resolution not less than 1280 × 720 px) - 1 pc.

b. family, where all family members or most of them are present (no later than 2019, in a resolution of at least 1280 × 720 px) - 2 pcs.
