Acting Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Kazakh-British Technical University, Asel Zhumasseitova, was awarded the title "Best University Teacher" in 2019.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan annually awards this award to two hundred teachers of Kazakhstan. This year, the award was presented by Vice Minister of Education and Science Miras Daulenov.
