The second round of the city vocal and music competition Alma Loud arranged by the student organization Art House KBTU took place on February 21 at KBTU.
Earlier the contest was called KBTU Dauysy. In celebration of the 5th anniversary of the project Art House, it was decided to get to the city level and invite all the universities of Almaty to participate in the competition.
The first stage was casting. There were 100 students from 20 universities. The selection of the strongest vocalists that obtained the excellent qualities such as artistry, control, ability to work in a team, etc.
Preparation to the semifinal took two weeks. During that period the organizers set up a serious show in the Independence Hall of KBTU. The concert was seen by the students of various Almaty universities, as well as youth organizations – G39, Volunteer league and Zhas Otan.
The experienced professionals were invited to be a part of the jury members: pop-singer, composer and producer Beibit Kushkaliyev, composer Galymbek Ismbergenov, a singer, holder of the second place in the contest New Wave 2015 and a finalist of the SuperStar Kz Dinaya (known under the stage name Ademi), as well as the head of retail net Xiaomi brand in RoK – Dina Auezhanova.
The General sponsor of the contest Alma Loud was mi.com.kz — the official distributor of Xiaomi in Kazakhstan.
The coverage of Alma Loud was about 10 thousand people that was quite unexpected. People from Art House received huge motivation to the final round of the contest where the 11 finalists will have a battle for the nomination of the best of the best.
