A representative of authentic poetry, one of the remarkable poets Mukagali Makatayev was born on February 9, 1931 in the village of Karasaz, Raiymbek district, Almaty region. Childhood coincided with the war. Mukagali is fond of literary works from an early age, and begins writing poetry from the age of 14-15. Mukagali's works were continuously published in the 1960s and 1970s, these years can be considered the time of the poet's rise to the top of Kazakh poetry. He worked as a literary adviser in the poetry section of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan. "Karlygashym, have you come?", "Dariga heart", "when the swans sleep", "Shugagym menin", "Omir-dastan", etc.His lyrics on the themes of his native land, the fate of people, life and death, mother and child, poet and poet, war, etc. have a unique national character, embroidered with national grain. The rich legacy of the poet, who has high hopes for the future, will forever remain in the minds of generations.
