On October 14, the Scientific Library held a competition of presentations “Familiar pages of favorite books” for students of all courses.
Participants of the competition were asked to talk about their favorite works from Kazakh and Russian literature, or about fiction books that they read on their own and left a mark on their souls.
Goals and objectives of the competition: increasing students' interest in studying literature, developing students' skills for independent research, developing creative abilities.
The first place was taken by Alikhan Didar, he presented the book of Kabdesh Zhumadilov “Akademiktin koz zhasy”.
The second place was taken by Bakhramov Eldar and Syrymbet Nurtas. Eldar presented Napoleon Hill's book "Think and Grow Rich"”, and Nurtas told Antoine de Sainte Exupery's book “The Little Prince”.
The third place was taken by Nakypova Ulbosyn, who presented Azilkhan Shurshayykov's book “Mahabbat kyzyk mol zhyldar”.
Other participants also received certificates for active participation. One of the writers said that a book is born not when it is published, but when it is read. A book is a friend, a book is a world without borders.
