In the period from November 20 to November 30, the Football Federation of Almaty in cooperation with Kazakh-British Technical University, Almaty mini-football championship among girls studying in higher and vocational educational institutions was conducted.

There were six participating teams in the tournament. Four of them were represented by HEI’s:

“Sunkar” – KBTU, KazUIRaWL(КазУМОиМЯ) named after Abylay-Khan, KazNMU named after Asfendiyarov, KazNau. Colleges were presented by two teams: Almaty multi-profile college and Almaty Polygraphic college.

The competition for the first place was tough between the teams “Sunkar” – KBTU and KazNMU. “Sunkar” – KBTU team became the winner. KazNMU team got the second place, and KazUIRaWL – the third.

According to the results of the championship the best player and other best players were defined in the following nominations:

• The best player – Polina Bektemirova (“Sunkar”-KBTU),
• The best goalkeeper – Altynay Manarbekkyzy (KazUIRaWL),
• The best centre-back – Gaziza Nurlayeva (“Sunkar”-KBTU),
• The best forward – Saltanat Zhylkyshbay (KazNMU).

During the ceremony all players were awarded with diplomas and medals, and the teams got their trophies and diplomas of relevant degrees.
