On November 13 during the ceremony Leader of Science - Web of Science Awards 2019 the best scientists of Kazakhstan were awarded in Almaty. Among the rewarded people was Maratbek Gabdullin, KBTU Vice-rector on science and innovations.

Maratbek Tulebergenovich received the awards in nomination "Best young Scientist". His main research is devoted to nanotechnology, materials science and plasma physics.

The independent annual award Leader of Science - Web of Science Awards is conducted by the company Clarivate Analytics under the Ministry of education and science of ROK. The award recognizes the best authors of scientific publications, scientists and research organizations of Kazakhstan for the outstanding input into development of Science.
