Within the frames of Abay-educational course, the educational culture event “A character’s image” dedicated to 175th anniversary of the great poet, philosopher Abay Kunanbayuly, with participation of KBTU students and actors from the Children and Youth Theatre named after Gabit Musrepov occurred on November 8.
The following actors played the roles of the characters of Abay as a child – Ernat Kunyshbayev, Kunanbay – Ruslan Akhmetov, Zhirenshe – Kuanysh Turdalin, Kamka – Saniya Erzat (Author – M. Auezov, Director – Zh. Khadzhiyev) in the play “Telgara”. At the beginning of the evening the students were suggested to listen to the performers’ biographies. Then, Anar Meiyrkhanovna, the associate professor of Kazakh and Russian languages faculty, PHD in Pedagogy, performed a song “Bright moon at a calm night…”.
Later the actors performed pieces of the “Telgara” play. Then, the cultural event was continued with students and the actors. The audience was happy to hear the up-to-date answers to various questions on art and modern life from the actors. Sanya and Kuanysh were playing a lot of guitar songs. Later, the groups of students and artists were suggested to fulfill some interesting intellectual and educational tasks. The groups completed tasks related to the creative personality and heritage of Abay with success. The winners of the game were awarded.
In the end of the evening the spectators service manager Gulziya Yesenzhanova gave a report on the issues of spiritual culture and modern youth.
Zhanat Dauletbekova, the teacher of Abay-tanu subject, PHD in Pedagogy, KBTU professor expressed her gratitude to the guests and presented them with a gift.
