On October 26 regional quarterfinals of the prestigious championship on programming ACM ICPC 2019-2020 among students took place in Almaty at KazNU named after Al-Farabi. Based on the results five teams from Kazakh-British Technical University reached the semifinals that will be held on December 1 at KBTU.
