Hundreds of KBTU graduates received their degrees at the magnificent 2019 Graduation Ceremony in the University’s historic Round Hall on Friday 21st of June. The Ceremony included spectacular performances by leading artists and singers. Colorfully decorated Round Hall was packed with guests where the new graduates were awarded their degrees in front of parents, families, friends and KBTU faculty and staff.
Heads and CEOs of KBTU partner national and international business companies also attended the event. Some were invited to the stage to distribute diplomas among the new graduates.
In his address KBTU Rector Kenzhebek Ibrashev said: “We are continuing to work hard to strengthen our ties with industry and business. Heads of leading partner companies which are members of our Advisory Board are happy to hand you diplomas today. They are well aware of the high level of your training and are potential employers for you. ”
Top managers of Agip Karachaganak BV, Chevron, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating BV, Polymetal, Michael Central Central Asia, Embamunaigas, Schlumberger, Honeywell, KMG Automation, Caspian Engineering, ANPZ, Oilfield Production Consultants Asia, Bolashak Atyrau, KazService Union, Bank CenterCredit, RFCA Rating Agency, BeIn Tech, KT Cloud Lab, as well as the British Council, NPP Atameken and Kazenergy Association attended the Graduation.
KBTU faculty and staff in their message to new graduates said: “Dear graduates, you should know that you will have a lot of success if you do not stop learning and developing. Be courageous; do not be afraid to set high goals! We wish you great success in your life and careers.”
