Delegates from the Kazakhstan-British Technical University (KBTU), specifically from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Projects Department of the Academy of Corporate Education, recently attended the King’s Climate & Sustainability (KCS) Networking Event King's Climate & Sustainability | King's College London This gathering united members of the King’s community committed to climate action and sustainability across various disciplines in teaching and research.
The event centered on Education for Sustainability (EfS) at King’s, highlighting innovative efforts to integrate sustainability into the university’s curricula. KBTU representatives had the opportunity to connect with awardees of King’s Academy and the inaugural EfS Projects Fund (2023-24), engaging in insightful discussions about the challenges and successes faced in interdisciplinary collaborations.
Notably, through the support of the SDG Projects Department, KBTU master students will participate in the international Data Dive program at King’s. This initiative, funded by King’s, will provide students with the chance to showcase their skills, with the best project group advancing to the final competition in 2025. The event not only showcased ongoing projects but also marked the launch of the 2024-25 funding round, fostering new opportunities for collaboration and innovation in sustainability education.
