From October 10 to 12, 2024, the II EuroAsian Financial and Economic Forum took place at the International Center for Border Cooperation "Khorgos." The forum was attended by the rector of the Kazakh-British Technical University Gabdullin M.T. The event was organized by the Association of Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan in collaboration with the People's Government of Khorgos (PRC) and the Financial-Business Association of EuroAsian Cooperation (FBA EAC).

This event provided a unique platform for strengthening integration processes between the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), the Caspian region, and the European Union (EU). The main focus was on expanding trade ties and creating efficient supply chains between Europe and Asia to improve the functioning of the common market for goods, services, and capital.

Gabdullin M.T. delivered speeches in the sections “Business-Education: Synergy of Science and Business” and “Industry, Subsoil, Energy,” where he presented KBTU's experience in integrating university structures with the business community to develop innovative projects and prepare specialists capable of meeting the challenges of the modern economy. The university’s participation in the forum also helped establish new business contacts with representatives of governmental bodies, international financial institutions, banks, and commercial companies from the SCO, EEU, and EU countries.

KBTU will continue to expand its international cooperation in the fields of education and innovation, making a significant contribution to integration processes and technological modernization in the EuroAsian space.
