The project of the students from the School of Information Technology and Engineering, Altair Zhambyl and Alan Abzalkhanuly, has made it to the finals of the prestigious Google Build with AI for Sustainable Growth hackathon. Their project, BrevnoKz, is focused on analyzing urban infrastructure and green spaces using advanced artificial intelligence technologies. The main goal of the project is to create an interactive map of the city that displays trees and green zones. Using API, air pollution levels are analyzed, and the AI, based on this data, suggests optimal locations for planting new trees, improving air circulation and reducing smog levels in the city.
This innovative initiative from the students of the School of Information Technology and Engineering has earned well-deserved recognition, and we sincerely wish them success in the hackathon finals.
