From August 5 to 11, 2024, the International Mathematics Competition 2024 (IMC), one of the most prestigious student mathematics competitions, took place in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria.

 

The KBTU team, consisting of Arslan Daminov, Zhasulan Asset, and Beksultan Kurmanbek, under the leadership of team leader Alimzhan Amanov, represented our university with distinction. Arslan Daminov achieved notable success by winning a bronze medal, and Zhasulan Asset received an honorable mention!

 

The competition was attended by 400 students from 79 universities around the world.

 

The International Mathematics Competition (IMC) was created to provide university-level mathematics students with a unique opportunity. It fosters the development of an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment where participants can engage in challenging competitions, establish friendships with fellow mathematicians worldwide, and explore international employment prospects for those with mathematical expertise.
