The Council is responsible for addressing issues related to the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) and its implementation. As a result of the election, Assistant Professor of the Business School, PhD Kairzhan Abdykalykov, was elected to the NSC for the implementation of EITI in Kazakhstan for a three-year term (2024-2027).
