On June 4, 2024, Chen Kai, Deputy Secretary of the Karamay Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and his delegation visited the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU), accompanied by representatives from Xinjiang Keli New Technology Development Co., Ltd., among other enterprises.

 

Then the first part of the symposium officially began. Rector Gabdullin Maratbek presented a detailed overview of KBTU, including its school profile, department structure, education and teaching, scientific research, as well as cooperation and exchange activities.

 

At the end of the meeting, both sides signed an agreement on the joint creation of a laboratory and an agreement on cooperation between the university and the enterprise. Cooperation between KBTU and Keli, within the framework of which closer cooperation is planned in the field of technological innovation, talent education and industrial development. Chen Kai expressed hope that thanks to this cooperation, the deep cooperation between the city of Karamai and Kazakhstan in the field of science and education will continue to develop, ensuring mutual benefit, mutually beneficial results and joint development.

 

Chen Kai's guidelines and suggestions determined the direction of construction and development of the joint laboratory and offered new ideas and opportunities for cooperation within the framework of the "Two Places, Three Parties" program.
