On June 5, KBTU Rector Gabdullin M. T., Managing Director for Additional Education I. A. Muratovich, head of project groups, Professor School of Information Technology and Engineering A. J. Akzhalova held a meeting with the Permanent Representative of UNDP in Kazakhstan Ms. Katarzhina Vavierina, Head of the Department of Effective Management of UNDP in Kazakhstan Ms. Ainur Baymyrza and project manager Askhat Zhumabayev.

During the meeting, the possibilities of continuing the project and strengthening the number of TVET programs, as well as training opportunities for Ukrainian women, participation of KBTU in the activities of UNDP on creative startups, training of KBTU in Almaty on June 25, 2024 were discussed.

Also, the KBTU delegation, together with international human rights expert Mrs. Bunafsha Gulakova, took part in the monitoring assessment of the UNDP project with representatives of the ICPE (International Country Project Evaluation) mission. During the monitoring, the potential and risks of the project were discussed, as well as the possibilities of expanding and increasing TVET programs.

In order to demonstrate the successful experience of KBTU in training Afghan women and to share experiences and conduct joint activities, a number of seminars and trainings were proposed.
