On April 26, a guest lecture "Zero Carbon emissions and Energy Transition Technology" by Professor Hendon Shin of Inha University, South Korea, was held.

Professor Shin has extensive experience working with large energy companies such as ConocoPhillips, Suncor Energy, Husky Energy and Shell. He defended his doctoral thesis in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Alberta, Canada.

The workshop addressed critical topics including energy balance, innovative mitigation technologies aimed at reducing carbon emissions, as well as the key role of petroleum resources and industry towards zero carbon emissions, with a particular focus on carbon capture and storage (CCS) and hydrogen energy.
