KBTU is strengthening its work in the field of dual practical training programs with industry. In this regard, joint training programs between KBTU Schools and industry are being conducted.

 

With the financial support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), meetings were held, as well as the seminar on the topic “Hydrogen application opportunities”, Japanese TVET (technical and vocational education and training), with the participation of Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan and North Atlanta College, Canada, in March 2024.

 

Raushan Amanzholova, lecturer of SITE, won a JICA grant to organize and conduct this event. The leading speakers of the events were:

 

• Tsuji Satoshi, Project Formulation Advisor, with Gennadiy Redkin, JICA, Japan

• Azamat Imanbayev, Dean, with Janay Sagin, School of IT and Engineering, KBTU, Kazakhstan

• Kentaro Noguchi, Head of Strategy, Mitsubishi Hydrogen programs, Japan

• Daulet Zhakupov, Head engineer, Department of Alternative Energy, Hydrogen, KazMunayGas Engineering, Kazakhstan

• Jason Rolls, Vice President, College of the North Atlantic (CNA), Canada

• Bektursun uulu Esentur, program assistant, JICA partnership program cooperation High School (Hokkaido, Japan) with Agrotechnical College (Kyrgyzstan)

• Albina Karabekova, Deputy Director, Agrotechnical college, Kyrgyzstan

 

The participants in these initiative meetings aim to promote further cooperation of KBTU on training programs for renewable energy sources, on various types of production and use of hydrogen in cooperation with colleagues from Japan, Canada and Kazakhstan, in the College - Industry - KBTU chain.
