The final was held within the KBTU walls on April 9 among students of higher scientific institutions. The competition was organized by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, the State Credit Bureau and the Kazakh-British Technical University. 39 teams from 22 educational institutions of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan registered to participate in the competition.

6 teams competed for victory, showing what they are capable of. Participants in the competition had to develop models for assessing the creditworthiness of individuals using machine learning algorithms and justify approaches to developing the model: creditworthiness factors, forecast accuracy and model stability.

Having considered the projects of the teams participating in the finals of the case championship, the authoritative jury made the following decisions on awarding prizes:

2 teams took first place:

Team “Mishki Gamma”, consisting of: Yussupov Sanzhar, Sakipov Bekzar, Omatay Isata, Asankul Azamat, Ruslan Medina.

“Satbayev Team”, consisting of: Ainel Kulchanovskaya.

Second place – team “Smart Management”, consisting of: Kakimov Almansur, Ostrikov Artyom.

Third place - the “Risky Team”, consisting of: Baktibayev Daulet, Duisekeyev Nurali, Panachev Alexandr, Pirniyazov Miras, Omar Alua.
