On April 8, 2024, Gabdullin Maratbek, KBTU Rector held a meeting with Ongarbayev Aset, the Regional Director of LONGi MEA & CA Region - the world's largest manufacturer of solar modules and developer of solar technologies.

Based on the results of a friendly and fruitful meeting, a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the field of education and science was signed on the development of joint commercial educational programs, internship programs for students and teaching staff, conducting guest lectures with the involvement of company experts, joint participation in R&D projects, organization and holding joint events (symposiums, seminars, round tables, conferences), as well as cooperation in research and training in the field of renewable energy sources.
