Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU) has announced it will deliver joint programmes with Global University Systems (GUS), London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) and Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI).

 

KBTU representatives Ibrayev A.M., Managing Director for Continuing Education, and Akzhalova A.Zh., Head of Project groups, met with Elena Kaverina, Regional Director at GUS, Karina Kishner, MD and Vice Rector at LSBF, and Dr Ekaterina Safonova, Vice-Provost for International Relations & Development at BSBI, as well as a professor from Cambridge University. The meeting aimed to expand cooperation on internships, winter and summer schools, scientific supervisor of master and doctoral students, publication in Scopus journals, continuing education courses, mini MBA, EMBA and joint DBA, life-long learning and executive education.

 

Based on the signed Memorandum of Cooperation in 2023 between KBTU and the the International Istanbul Business Institute, which is a partner of GUS, KBTU had several meetings with the following universities and companies: FutureLearn, IBAT College, The Language Gallery, London College of Contemporary Art and Atlantic Technological University.

 

Following the meeting, KBTU and BSBI agreed to cooperate in several areas. This included: tripartite cooperation, short-term courses in continuing education and projects within SDG-centre KBTU, Executive-MBA DBA, mini-MBA programmes, internship and visiting module programmes, participation in the Erasmus+ programme and support for teaching staff and cadets of KMA KBTU for cooperation on internships and advanced training.

 

The two institutions also agreed to deliver joint events in scientific and educational events such as career fairs as well as joint programmes on cybersecurity / anti-fraud.
