On March 19, KBTU held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nicolaas Jacob Schermers. During the visit, prospects for the development of cooperation in such areas as nanotechnology, green energy, hydrogen and uranium industries, information technology and agriculture were discussed.

Special attention was paid to the possibilities of establishing partnerships between universities of Kazakhstan and the Netherlands, as well as inviting professors from the Netherlands to participate in various scientific and academic events.

It is important to note that KBTU maintains close cooperation with the Dutch company STC Group, an international leader in the field of marine educational and consulting services. This cooperation means not only the exchange of experience, but also the provision of teachers and staff, training of cadets, advice on maritime law and conventions, as well as access to modern simulators and engineering workshops.
