On February 16, KBTU held a meeting with Stephen Brennan, Deputy Country Director, Trade and Investment from the British Embassy in Kazakhstan. Prospects for expanding cooperation between KBTU and British universities were discussed at the meeting. Special attention is paid to cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources, decarbonization technologies, executive education and life-long learning.
Upcoming meetings and conferences were also discussed, including topics on wind and solar energy, carbon capture, energy storage, prospects for the production and use of hydrogen, as well as novel superconducting materials.
