On February 2, a meeting was held between the rector of KBTU Gabdullin M.T. and the General director of Butadiene LLP Surtaev Ch.E., during which the parties discussed the prospects of partnership and signed a cooperation agreement.

Important issues related to the professional development of the company's staff and the introduction of innovative training methods were discussed at the meeting. Chingiz Yerzhanovich expressed interest in the development of educational programs adapted to modern challenges in the chemical field, and stressed the importance of interaction between business and education.

The main result of the visit was the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Butadiene LLP and KBTU. This document provides not only for the exchange of experience and technologies, but also for the creation of joint staff development programs aimed at training specialists who meet modern labor market requirements.

During the meeting, the following areas of cooperation were identified:

• carrying out basic and applied research works within the framework of joint projects on the basis of scientific centers, institutes, laboratories;

• training of highly qualified personnel, as well as training, retraining and (or) advanced training, internship of scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers, as well as scientific internship of undergraduates and doctoral students;

• organization of on-the-job training within the framework of dual education for students, and employment of graduates, if there are vacancies;

• organization of professional (industrial) practice for students;

• performing applied and exploratory scientific research and development in the field of natural and technical sciences, as well as research and development;

• сreating conditions for the exchange of ideas, information and technologies, as well as the organization of joint research and development within the agreed priority areas.

Gabdullina M.T. stressed the importance of such partnerships and expressed confidence that this cooperation with KBTU will contribute to the introduction of best practices and standards in the industry.

Both sides expressed their intention to actively develop partnership relations within the framework of the new agreement.
