In 2023, the Department of Continuing Education of the Kazakh-British Technical University, together with the Public Association "International Association for Vocational Guidance of Schoolchildren", successfully launched a program of advanced training courses for school teachers - "I am a Career Counselor". During the year, more than 40 specialists have successfully completed training under this program.

The course "I am a Career guidance counselor" is designed not only for beginners and advanced career guidance specialists, but also for anyone who wants to master a new in-demand and important profession.

The course includes advanced modules where you will learn all the basics of mentoring students and applicants; learn how to conduct effective consultations; promote yourself as an expert and even learn the basics of doing business with the participation of your assigned personal supervisor throughout the course:

- The basics of career guidance;

- Career guidance tools;

- The practice of individual and group counseling , etc .

Students who successfully complete the course are awarded a joint certificate of advanced training from KBTU JSC and the NGO International Association for Vocational Guidance of Schoolchildren.
