On December 1, the second business mission of the Kazakh delegation to Turkmenistan took place successfully this year. It was organized by the Astana Diplomatic Club with the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan. The delegation included the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of KBTU Issakhov Assylbek Abdiashimovich.
During the four working days of the business mission, the delegation members visited Ashgabat, Mary, Arkadag, Turkmenbashi, where they got acquainted with the potential of Turkmen enterprises, presented the opportunities of Kazakhstani business, outlined promising areas of cooperation, and agreed on further development of cooperation.
It is planned to create a logistics center on the basis of KBTU, which will be engaged in research and development in this area. The University has also opened Master's degree programs in logistics, which are aimed at the restoration and development of the Great Silk Road. Assylbek Abdiashimovich invited Turkmenistan to join this hub and cooperation in the field of science and offered to jointly implement scientific projects.
In Ashgabat, the Kazakh delegation also took part in the International Exhibition Agro Rask Turkmenistan-2023. Entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan visited the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan.
