IT Fest was held in Astana on November 27-28 as part of the 25th anniversary of the NNEF Public Foundation. At the event, the GameLab KBTU and KBTU Game Development and Research Laboratory organized the "Kazakhstan through the eyes of a gamer" zone. She demonstrated how video games can deeply explore the cultural and historical heritage of Kazakhstan.

 

A variety of computer games were presented within the zone, including projects based on Turkic mythology, VR quests dedicated to the history of the country, and board games. A special feature was a photo zone with augmented reality elements for Instagram and an exhibition of works based on artificial intelligence. The presentation by Alexandra Knysheva, head of GameLab, with a report on the gamification of learning, emphasized the importance of video games in the modern educational sphere.
