On November 18, the Kazakh-British Technical University held a competition among students of technical universities in the city of Almaty "Alash ziyalylary zhastar kozimen"

The purpose of the competition: education of patriotism, contributing to the students' knowledge of the life and work of such intellectuals of the nation as Shakarim, Sultanmakhmut, Magzhan.

The competition is held with the support of the Youth Policy Department of the city of Almaty and with the support of the charitable foundation "Dauletten"

By the decision of the jury:

1st place (funds 250,000 tenge) “Shamshyrak” group of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University;

2nd place (funds 150,000 tenge) “Miras” group of UIB University;

3rd place (funds 100,000 tenge) “Ulagat” group of Almaty University of Energy and Communications;

Other groups that also took an active part in the competitions received various nominations.
