From October 3 to 5, Astana hosts the annual KAZENERGY Forum, where KBTU directly participates.
Today on the platform of the Forum held a roundtable meeting organized by the Kazakh-British Technical University on the theme: "Science and energy: a look into the future". Participation was taken by such organizations as AREC - Commission on RES of Arab countries, Atyrau university of Oil and Gas, Science Foundation, Almaty University of Energy and Communications, RSE Institute of Nuclear Physics, Institute of Geology and Oil and Gas named after K. Turysov.
Representatives of organizations and universities told what projects, research, works are carried out inside to find solutions to modern energy challenges.
Maratbek Gabdullin, Rector of Kazakh-British Technical University announced the establishment of the Hub of Polytechnic Universities in the energy sector on September 18 this year. "The purpose of this Hub is to provide a unique platform to enhance educational programs to adequately respond to the impending changes in the energy sector and equip students with the necessary knowledge to navigate it. Under the Hub, the ESG goals of energy transition will be achieved by updating the curricula, guest lectures and events to achieve the ESG goals," the Rector said.
