September 19-20, Kazakh-British Technical University took part in the international forum CAPIF 2, organized by RIPE NCC, in Tashkent.

The CAPIF Forum brings together Internet service providers, telecom operators and other stakeholders from Central Asia to discuss and collaborate on issues related to peering, interconnection and Internet infrastructure development in the region. The event brings together telecom experts from Asia, Europe and Africa to exchange technical information, best practices and experiences.

Mr. Temirlan Zhaksalykov, senior lecturer of the School of Information Technology and Engineering, made a presentation on "Advancing Network Security: Post-Quantum Encryption" at the panel session "Securing and Measuring Internet".
