Akim Yerbolat Dosayev awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of Almaty" to people who have made a significant contribution to the development and prosperity of the metropolis.

Among them is KBTU professor, academician of the National Academy of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dzhumadildaev Askar Serkulovich.

The list also includes: vocal-instrumental ensemble "Dos-Mukasan", famous artist Alpysbai Kazgulov, outstanding scientist-anthropologist Orazak Ismagulov and others.
