UNICEF Kazakhstan and GameLab KBTU, as part of the STEAM girls' support program, are inviting schoolgirls and female students aged 15-24 to participate in a three-day gamification hackathon called "LEVEL UP". The event will take place from August 7th to 9th at the Kazakh-British Technical University.

During the hackathon, participants will collaborate with KBTU game development teachers and curators to propose their ideas for gamifying the UniSat course, an educational project focused on assembling and launching nanosatellites.

No professional programming or game development skills are required to participate in the hackathon. However, preference will be given to candidates who hold certificates from the "LEVEL UP: Introduction to video games and gamification" course and the UniSat course. Following the selection process, 50 girls will be chosen to attend the hackathon.

Registration is open until July 24. The link to the registration form can be found in the header of the GameLab KBTU profile: https://www.instagram.com/gamelab.kbtu/

For participants coming from outside the city, transfer services and accommodation will be provided for the duration of the hackathon.
