Dear students!

As you know, this year KBTU is building two new dormitory buildings for 980 places, with an expected completion date in December 2023 (https://kapital.kz/real_estate/115972/kbtu-stroit-novoye-obshchezhitiye-dlya-studentov.html).

Currently, the Student Dormitory at KBTU has 653 available places. The existing housing stock of the Student Dormitory will be exclusively allocated to first-year students in September, following the Procedure for providing places in the dormitory of KBTU (https://kbtu.edu.kz/ru/students/hostel). By the beginning of January 2024, all out-of-town students in need of accommodation will be relocated to the new KBTU Dormitory.

In light of this, we kindly request senior students to be understanding and initiate their independent search for housing in advance for the period from September to December 2023.

Additionally, to assist with the housing search, KBTU will soon provide you with a list of comfortable hostels in the city of Almaty where students can arrange private accommodation until the construction of the new dormitories is completed.
