On June 8, 2023, an online meeting of the REMC Educational and Methodological Association on the topic «Artificial Intelligence in the Academic Process: Threats and Opportunities» was held under the leadership of Miras Mukhtarovich Daulenov, Chairman of EMA-PMG REMC (Educational and Methodological Association of the Project Management Group of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council), PhD, and President of Narxoz University. During the meeting, a representative of KBTU, Akzhalova A.Zh., Head of Project Groups and professor at SITE, presented the report titled "Opportunities of artificial intelligence and its use in teaching methods for IT and related areas".

The meeting discussed relevant issues regarding the implementation and utilization of teaching and learning tools, as well as innovative solutions for managing the educational process through the application of artificial intelligence technologies. All participants unanimously agreed on the necessity of keeping pace with leading international universities and exploring the possibilities of effectively incorporating new solutions, including NLP, ChatGPT, ML, and AI, to enhance and automate all processes, ranging from student admissions to knowledge assessments, development of new teaching methodologies, and administration of business processes.
